One of my favorite parks! Plenty of parking, tons of land for picnics, and a beautiful place for a scenic walk. There are some trails you can go up but the ones I found were quite steep and there were so many bugs - make sure to wear bug spray and wear hiking shoes if you choose the trails! Very dog friendly (leashed) and there is a playground further along in the park. Benches and seating areas are spread throughout.

This is a big beautiful park and I've enjoyed walking my dog here. However, it's become too dangerous lately with all of the off-leash dogs running around. The previous three times I've visited, at least one large dog has come charging up to mine to say hello, with the owner doing little to nothing to stop them. It's been fine in our situation, but this can be really dangerous if you are walking a dog that is reactive or dog aggressive. On my most recent visit, not a single dog was leashed. Please be very careful walking here, there's no enforcement of the leash law.

This is a fun place to walk with kiddos, but beware — almost every dog we saw was unleashed and had terrible recall. Lots of dog poo, too. But none of that is the parks fault. There are trails, disc golf and a really great variety of planted vegetation.

This is a gorgeous park. Lots of pavilions for events, it has a three segment dog park with a pond in the main section, there are plenty of creeks that I've seen people kayaking in, open fields, big hills with lots of tree coverage, frisbee golf, and giant sledding hills in the winter. You can really get a ton out of this park, and vary your visits to do a lot of different sorts of activities here. I highly recommend checking it out if you haven't yet.
